I - AGE ALLOWANCE

Under 12:

NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 12 IS ALLOWED TO PLAY AT THE FIELD UNLESS ACCOMPANIED ON THE FIELD BY A PARENT.* Meaning, a parent is expected to play with any player under the age of 12 and not just be present at the field. A signed waiver by the parent/legal guardian must be on file.

*Private parties are the exception of this rule.

Ages 12-17:

If you are UNDER 18 years of age, you must have a parent present at sign-in so they can accept legal responsibility, but they do not have to play with the participant.

Age 18 and Older:

If you are 18 or older, you are considered an adult and can therefore accept responsibility of your own actions and sign your own waiver.

NO WAIVER, NO PLAY, NO EXCEPTION!

II – Eye Protection

Eye protection is absolutely required at ALL TIMES while on the field or target/chrono range. All persons in the playing zone need to wear goggles (or equivalent paintball mask) with a minimum rating of ANSI 87.1.2003. The goggle/mask needs to be sealed with your face so no BBs can get in and it must be a rigid lens. If your eye protection cannot stop an AEG shooting 400fps at point blank range AND are not full seal, do not bring them. The following are summary guidelines to ensure your safety:

-          For all i70 Airsoft events, full seal eye enclosure is mandatory.

o   Paintball goggles are approved if sealed around the eyes.

-          Full face protection is not required, but is highly recommended.

-          i70 Airsoft will disapprove ALL shooting, safety, or hardware glasses during field play.

-          i70 Airsoft will disapprove ALL ski goggles.

-          i70 Airsoft will disapprove ALL mesh goggles.

-          Goggles (or equivalent paintball mask) must be worn at ALL times while in the playing field.

III - Cheating

If you know yourself to have a problem with honesty, please do everyone a favor and stay home. Airsoft is a game that is dependent on honorable players. Cheating will NOT BE TOLERATED!

IV – Field FPS Regulations

We have come to set the following as field limits for your safety.

AEGs should be set to a field max of 400FPS using .20 BB’s.

Bolt action snipers and any other type of gun may be set to a field max of 450FPS, using .20 BB’s. Modified AEGs that shoot over 400FPS must be modified to fire only on semi auto. If you have one of these guns, please inform the i70 Airsoft staff before you take to the field with it. Remember, sniper weapons are limited to lowcap mags only.

Orange tips are optional.

V - General Field Rules and Game Briefing

Rule violations will result in a one (1) hour suspension from game play. The one hour suspension does not apply to rules that already have posted consequences.

1.      Do not talk during rules or game briefings. If you have a question, raise your hand.

2.      Treat your airsoft gun like you would a real firearm. DO NOT point your gun in the direction of others while game play is not underway. Even if you think it is unloaded, even if the safety is on, keep that gun either pointed at the ground or toward the sky.

3.      Mags out and safeties on while game play is not underway.

4.      Target practice is only allowed on the target range. NO shooting across the water or at the wildlife around or on the field.

5.      Pistols may be loaded while in a holster, but M203 shells may NOT be stored loaded in the barrel between games. They may, however, be stored loaded in a pouch.

6.      CALL YOUR HITS!! (Gun hits and ricochets DO NOT count.) When struck by a BB…

      a.       Yell, “Hit!”

      b.      Hold your hand or gun in the air so the individual shooting at you knows to stop.

      c.       Immediately put your red rag on your head.

7.      The minimum engagement distance is 20FT for guns shooting up to 400FPS.

8.      Do NOT blind fire. For example, do not stick your gun around the wall and fire without looking as you shoot.

9.      Dead men don’t talk. Players are cheating if they give away tactical info after being shot.

10.  If you tag an opposing player, they are considered hit.

11.  All goggles must be full seal, no shooting glasses. See Eye Protection. DO NOT remove eye protection while on the field during game play. This is your FIRST warning. If you take off your eye protection you will be taken off the field.

12.  Medic Rules: When hit, yell, “Hit!” and place your red rag on your head. Remain where you are and call out for your Medic. When your Medic reaches your position, he will lay his hand on you and start the one (1) minute timer.  When the timer beeps, you’re back in the game. If you are shot again while the Medic is healing you, the Medic must start over.

If the Medic hasn’t reached your position within three (3) minutes, you may go look for your medic. As you wander the field looking for your Medic, keep your hands up. You MAY ask other players where the Medic is, however, you may not give any tactical information to other players. If a Medic is shot, he can be revived by another Medic or by taking fifty (50) steps out of the action and then waiting for two (2) minutes. Medics can only heal one player at a time.

13.  Simulated Dragging Rule: You may “drag” a hit player to his Medic. First sling your gun or hand it to the hit player. Then, place both hands on the wounded and now he can move with you. If you let go, he must stop. Two players may move one wounded by laying one hand, a piece, on the wounded. The wounded can now move with them.

14.Surrenders:

Surrenders may be offered, but cannot be forced on the opposing player. If you chose to close the 20FT minimum engagement distance, in order to get a surrender, in effect you are saying that you don’t care if YOU get blasted from close range. You do not have the right to shoot that person until they reject the surrender. Rejecting a surrender includes verbal rejection, trying to quickly shoot you, or ignoring you because they are thinking about how they’re about to shoot you. Don’t try to perform a surrender if you don’t understand this procedure.

15. Teams:

Teams will be given a color. If you want to try and determine who is friend and who is foe, call out the color of your team. If you try to identify an opposing player, he doesn’t have to reply, but he cannot lie about his color.

16.  At the end of each game, ALL players need to yell “GAME OVER, MAGS OUT!” At that point, remove the MAG and place it in your pocket or pouch. Then point the gun in the air and pull the trigger to remove any BBs from the barrel.

17.  HOW TO DEAL WITH PLAYERS WHO YOU THINK MAY NOT BE CALLING THEIR HITS…

If you suspect a player is not calling his hits, DO NOT cuss, scream, or tell them that they are hit. You must ask: “ARE YOU HIT?” If the opposing player answers with, “NO.” you have two options:

      1)      Keep shooting

      2)      Go call them out. (Visit this page to see how to call a player out.) [NOT IMPLEMENTED]

18. Never give the impression that you are hit if that is not the case.

19. Friendly fire counts.

20. Do not move tables, chairs, wood, pallets, or anything else to create your own cover or bunkers.

21. No intentional destruction of i70 Paintball and Airsoft Property with hands, feet, etc.

22. Foul, intimidating, or abusive language is NOT allowed. Out of control tempers will not be tolerated on the field. If someone speaks to you in an inappropriate manner, bite your tongue. If you respond to inappropriate language with inappropriate language, you have just inflamed the situation and both players will come off the field to discuss the matter with a member of the field staff.

23. Fighting, aggressive physical contact, is absolutely banned. Fighting will result in an immediate EJECTION from the event. The police may be called. You will be BANNED FOR LIFE from any i70 Airsoft event and we will forward your info to all other Airsoft field operators. Again, we take everyone’s safety very seriously.

24. Field Marshals or Observer Controllers (OC) are trusted players who concern themselves with safety issues and work to keep the games flowing smoothly. If a Field Marshal directs you to do something, you must comply. Field Marshals are NOT referees, they are not looking to enforce honest play. The enforcement of honest play is up to each and every player.
